Matrimony for the Indian Diaspora

Dear Community,

We are excited to share the story behind our journey in creating this matrimony service! We are a group of tech professionals and each one of us is happily married. As we navigated our own matrimony journey and as we helped others do so, we are realizing how overwhelming this whole journey is, especially for the Indian diaspora in the USA & Canada.

Even when so many online and dating platforms are available, countless families are needing to resort to posting candidate profiles on random WhatsApp and Facebook groups and exposing themselves to data privacy risks. That’s because families are frustrated by swiping endless profiles. There is no trust in whether the existing profiles on these platforms are real. And even when the profile is real, there is no trust in whether the data is accurate or that they are serious about getting married. We also observe matches are being made on superficial matching criteria. This often leads to unsatisfactory relationships or even heartbreaks. Married couples are finding themselves facing challenges that could have been addressed from the very beginning.

Our mission is to change this narrative for good! We believe that matrimony is not just about finding a partner, but about fostering genuine connections that honor our rich cultural heritage. One key aspect that sets us apart is our commitment to involving families in the matchmaking process—an essential tradition in our culture that many platforms overlook. We approach this involvement with the utmost respect and discretion,ensuring that families play a supportive role without compromising individual choices.

We take pride in our thorough verification process, which ensures that every profile on our platform is authentic and trustworthy. But we go beyond just verifying details; we take the time to understand the values, lifestyle, aspirations, and backgrounds of our users. Our matching process is holistic, looking at compatibility factors that extend far beyond age, caste, location, and profession. We focus on finding connections that resonate on deeper levels—shared values, life goals, and personal as well as family interests.
